BE HERE NOW 40TH ANNIVERSARY eBOOK

Glowing Pictures is honored to produce the 40th anniversary eBook of the classic of consciousness - "Be Here Now" by Ram Dass. Upon it's publication in 1970, Be Here Now led the transition from the psychedelic sixties to the spiritual seventies, and introduced a generation to yoga, meditation, vegetarianism, and right livelyhood. Now, forty years later, Ram Dass' message is as vital as ever. "Be Here Now" is Glowing Pictures' first project in the eBook medium, which will include a new video collaboration with Ram Dass, and lots of extras formatted for the iPad and iPhone. Look for "Be Here Now" to be published in October from HarperOne.
MOS Architects collaboration and other recent projects

"Rainbow Vomit": sculpture by MOS Architects, projections by Benton-C Bainbridge
Catching up on recent Glowing Pictures projects - we created interactive projections and light for MOS Architects collapsing cube installation at Creators Project for VICE and Intel. Benton-C Bainbridge designed video with the teen cinema and photo artists of YoungArts for events at Baryshnikov Arts Center (NYC), Adrienne Arsht Performing Arts Center (Miami) and the Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C.). With Matthew Schlanger, Glowing Pictures has been developing a system for making full color video effects with the monochrome Rutt/Etra Video Synthesizer. The third season of One Step Beyond went out with a bang as V Owen Bush and Benton-C Bainbridge created content for the new hi-res RGB LED AstroBulletin while Yeasayer spun eclectic tracks.
